Accessibility, AI, institutional systems and sites in production.

  1. OSS (MIT) · v1.4.4

wcag-agent — Accessibility agent for AI assistants (opens in a new tab)

Installs a WCAG 2.2 auditor into the developer's AI assistant (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf, Zed and more — 10 platforms). Audits React/Next.js and Vue/Nuxt straight from source code, with no server and zero external dependencies.

    Node.js · WCAG 2.2

  2. In development · launch planned for December 2026

Full Rebuild of the DGSC Institutional Website (opens in a new tab)

Complete replacement of the previous platform: newsletters and notices, a formal complaints workflow with traceability, Equality and Accessibility as a top-level navigation section, a document library and a unified search with a static fallback if it fails. Production test bed for wcag-agent, on its way to WCAG 2.2 AA.

    Next.js

  3. Personal · own initiative · thesis foundation

Accessible DGSC Prototype — Audit Dashboard with AI Agents (opens in a new tab)

WCAG 2.2 AA audit dashboard with three AI agents: a conversational one that answers questions about the findings, a classifier that categorizes them and a generator that builds the remediation backlog. Compliance metrics and historical tracking by campaign.

    Next.js 15 · Supabase · NVIDIA NIM · Recharts

  4. OSS (MIT) · v1.3.2

@jalonsc66/a11y-ci — Accessibility as part of the build (opens in a new tab)

CLI that brings WCAG 2.2 AA auditing into the pipeline: three engines in a single pass, an exit code based on severity and automatic detection of local environments. Recipes for GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.

    Node.js · axe-core · IBM Equal Access · CI/CD

  5. Personal initiative · not commissioned by the institution

Civil Service Chatbot — RAG Assistant (opens in a new tab)

Conversational assistant that answers questions about Civil Service procedures and regulations from a RAG knowledge base. It shares its foundation with the MAG chatbot: automatic failover across three AI providers to avoid single points of failure, and an admin panel with an audit log where uploaded documents join the knowledge base without manual retraining.

    Next.js 15 · pgvector / Neon · RAG multi-modelo

  6. In active development · phase 4 of 6

King Kong Barber — Booking SaaS for Barbershops (opens in a new tab)

From one barbershop's booking site to a multi-tenant platform: each business gets its own subdomain, branding and schedule, self-service sign-up with a 14-day trial and a platform panel with an audit log. Bookings are validated in the business's time zone and never overlap thanks to a Postgres exclusion constraint; email and push reminders, rescheduling, time off and an offline PWA.

    Next.js 15 · Prisma 7 · Neon Postgres · NextAuth v5 · PWA

  7. In active development

Post JASC — POS with Electronic Invoicing (opens in a new tab)

Point of sale and electronic invoicing for Costa Rica: invoices, receipts, credit and debit notes, quotes, accounts receivable and per-register closing. XML validated against Hacienda's official XSDs, sent from a queue with retries, credentials encrypted with AES-256-GCM and per-company isolation; CI runs migrations on an empty Postgres and more than 50 test files.

    Next.js 15 · Prisma 6 · Neon Postgres · Hacienda v4.4

  8. In production · Freelance

De La Finca Restaurant Website (opens in a new tab)

Bilingual ES/EN site with a category-based menu exportable to PDF, an editorial gallery, real Google reviews and WhatsApp reservations validated in Costa Rica time, which are logged in a panel to confirm or cancel them. Custom admin panel with two-factor authentication (TOTP), revocable sessions and attempt limits in Postgres. Audited in 2026: CSP without unsafe-eval, structured data, server-rendered images and 36 unused dependencies removed.

    Next.js · Drizzle · Postgres (Supabase) · TOTP · Google Places

  9. In production · Freelance

Habla Conmigo Spanish School (opens in a new tab)

Website on its own domain for a Spanish school, in person in Costa Rica and online. The class catalog and its prices are read from Postgres (Neon) with a static fallback if the database fails; it includes four accommodation options for immersion and bookings that convert the schedule to the student's time zone. In development: an /admin panel with email code login so the client can edit video, figures, classes, prices and photos.

Fullstack developer with more than 18 years of IT experience in Costa Rica's public sector, specialized in React, Next.js, Node.js, PHP/MySQL and digital accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA). Licentiate in Computer Engineering (IT Management, 2026), built on a Bachelor's in Systems Engineering and earlier training in Educational Computing.

Author of three open source tools published on npm: wcag-agent, an accessibility auditing agent for AI assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf and more); @jalonsc66/a11y-ci, which brings the same audit into the CI/CD pipeline; and scroll-flyover, a Claude Code skill for building 3D scroll experiences with Three.js at no generation cost per build.

Currently at Costa Rica's General Directorate of Civil Service (DGSC), where I lead WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility for the institutional website and its full rebuild, due in December 2026, and develop the in-house institutional headless CMS, with 18 content collections, that will power the new site. Before that, 15 years at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock designing institutional systems end to end.

In parallel, I build my own products and client work: an ecosystem of AI agents (conversational, finding classification and automatic task generation), multi-model RAG assistants, SaaS platforms and websites for businesses.
